Ideal for a stress free, 'get away from it all' holiday, our self catering cottage and caravan are situated on adjacent crofts, near Loch Pooltiel in the north west of the Isle of Skye.
Enjoy walking, climbing, fishing, watching birds or wildlife or simply relax and let your worries drift away. For nature lovers, late May to early July is the time to come when the crofts and hills are covered with a huge variety of wild flowers, including stunning orchids.
Minke whales, basking sharks and seals are regularly seen from Neist Point.
Sea eagles and golden eagles can also be seen. There are deer and otters too but will you be able to spot them?
For serious walkers and climbers the Cuillin are within easy reach and the cliffs at Neist Point offer challenging climbs. There are lots of easier walks nearby to suit all levels of fitness and ability.
Glendale is a great place for fishing - in the river or loch. Mackerel and pollock are plentiful in the summer. Lobster,crab and langoustine are regularly caught in the loch but you won't find these delicacies in the local shops. Most are destined for hotels, restaurants or the overseas market.
The award winning, world famous Three Chimeys Restaurant is just a few minutes' drive away.
